Hello - question for the Officely folk - We will be using Officely for everyone to record what days they are in the office. However, we’re also looking to do a mixture of fixed and hot desks (within the same banks of desks / neighbourhoods). The fixed desks will never be hot desks. This means some people will always use the same fixed desk and the remainder of the company will use hot desks. Does Officely currently support this approach?

Hey @Donna Burgess, thanks for sharing your approach. Assuming those who have a fixed desk know which desk is theirs and understand not to book hotdesks, a possible approach could be to setup a neighbourhood called “Fixed Desks” leaving the “Desk Count” empty (this means it’s not restricted). All those who use a fixed desk can set this as their “Home neighbourhood”, meaning they won’t be asked to select a neighbourhood each time they book. They can then go ahead and join the days accordingly. For everyone else, you could ask them to only use the hot desking neighbourhoods and book accordingly.
Do you think that would work in your circumstance?

Thanks for the response - it’s a possible route. I was trying to align the floor plan (desk bank names) with neighbourhoods, but might not be able to do that. Will have a play with it.

I see, yes that’s tricky. How many neighbourhoods have a mix of desk types? could you name the neighbourhoods like this?

2 of 6 neighbourhoods will have a mixture. Will give it some thought.
